Rationale
About Learning Modules
These LEARNING MODULES present an attempt on our part in getting
the student involved as an active/interactive participant in the
learning process. The approach relies heavily on computer graphics,
followed by hand drawings made on hard copies and/or simulations
performed entirely by the student. The objective is to lead the
student by the hand into the heart of a fundamental mathematical
and/or computational concept. The student is very much involved
in the act of getting there. It is hoped that this experiment
will stimulate interest and passion in the student, triggering
her/him into a deep understanding of the underlying principles
rather than memorizing facts.
