This is a program with a lot of bang for the buck. For the price of round trip airfare and a small amount of spending money our daughter was immersed in a wonderful language and cultural experience. Three generations of our family here enjoyed getting to know our German exchange students. It was fun for all of us to see our country thru foreign eyes. Our daughter's host family in Germany treated her as their daughter. We developed relationships with our daughter's host family that we all hope will last for a long time. You are placing your child in the care of someone you do not know but it is fine as you are busy with their child here. Germany is a very safe clean and beautiful country. Its people are warm and friendly. We are already looking forward to our German exchange student's little brother hopefully participating in the exchange in a few years.
