Deutsche Ehrenverbindung
THE NATIONAL GERMAN HONOR SOCIETY
DELTA EPSILON PHI
Alabama Rho

The National German Honor Society is an honorary organization in recognition of dedicated and serious German students at ASMS. The goal of the organization is to further explore and celebrate German language and culture beyond the intermediate level classroom. The “Ehrenverbindung” is to encourage our excellent learners to continue to carry their demonstrated love of German throughout life. Inductions with a festive dinner are held each spring to celebrate the exemplary leadership of the finest students of German at ASMS.

Previous and ongoing activities of the German Honor Society include "Deutscher Stammtisch" (German lunch table), "Deutsche Filme" (films at ASMS, at USA's "Foreign Film Series", and at the Mobile Public Library's "foreign film" screenings), "Deutscher Kochclub" (German cooking), "Deutscher Spieleabend" (German games night), "Deutsche Feste" (German holidays campus-wide), and general tutoring (available regularly each week on demand).
