Female Images in Fiction and Film

Course Description:

This course will examine images of women presented by a variety of female writers. We will be mostly concentrating on comparing and contrasting female personae in fiction and films and determining how popular and perhaps not-so-popular fictive and screen notions of women have influenced our own perceptions.
