We will be exploring atmospheric electric fields and their relationshp to solar winds. We will look for a correlation between fair weather electric fields and currents and ultraviolet light intensity. We will also study elecric field changes as thunderstorms approach and pass over. We will construct remote sensing stations that will record the earth's electric field and relate this to rainfall in thunderstorm cells.
