The Relationship Between Structure and Function

Anatomy and physiology is the study of the human body. Students will learn about the anatomy and physiological function of cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems in the context of the whole organism. Lectures on physiology are supplemented by laboratory experiences which include physiological demonstrations and dissection. This course is intended in content and expectations to be equivalent to an anatomy and physiology course on the sophomore level of college or in an Allied Health program.
