The Study of Plants and Plant Habitats
This course introduces the plant kingdom, the major plant groups that make it up, and the natural communities they form. We learn plant anatomy , physiology, reproduction, and the major divisions and families of the plant kingdom. We visit representative habitats in south Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, observing, collecting, preserving, identifying and studying the native plants found there. |
