Life in the Ocean
This is a two-part course designed
to give the student an introduction to the marine environment.
The first term
(Marine Biology 1/2) will focus on the geological,
physical, and chemical aspects of the marine environment that
affect marine organisms. It will also provide an in-depth look
at the organisms that inhabit this environment, focusing on their
taxonomic differences.
The
second term (Marine Biology 2/2) will
focus on the ecological aspects of marine environment: how marine
organisms interact with each other and with the marine environment.
