in order to view items in a virtual environment.

picture
to see
a model of the solid of revolution obtained by rotating the hyperbola
Y = 1/x around the x-axis.
The rotation leads to an improper integral.
If the integral is evaluated from 1 to infinity,
the volume approaches
while the surface area increases without bound.
