Grading Scale: A normal grading scale will be used:
F < 60.0 £ D < 70.0 £ C < 80.0 £ B < 90.0 £ A
Each member of the class will be responsible for participating in classroom assignments that cover the topics below, designing and creating a website and taking tests. Other requirements may include homework assignments, tests, and reports. The criteria for each assignment will be given out during class.
Weights:
Class participation, attitude, and effort 10%
Website 30%
Daily assignments 50%
Test(s) 10%
Attendance: Students are expected to be in class, on time, unless you have an excused absence for being sick or for attending an event. I am responsible for you during our class meeting time and you will want to be prompt and dependable. Three unexcused absences may result in a D for the class. If you are sick, please go to the nurse! Six absences as a combination of excused or unexcused may result in a D for the course. Any unexcused absence will result in a lowering of your Class Participation grade.
