The 2011 ASMS Azimuth was handed out to students at a signing party Monday afternoon in the courtyard. The book’s editor is senior Brody Mathews and the faculty sponsor is John Hoyle. Please click on the “View in fullscreen” to view the book at a larger size. This year, 275 Azimuths were published for under $6,000, down from $24,000 in 2008 and $11,000 in 2010. Nearly 35 of the books were printed with “bad spines,” which caused several pages to come loose. Any incorrectly printed books will be replaced. Please email jhoyle@asms.net if you would like a replacement book mailed to your home during the summer. “By avoiding the major yearbook companies and publishing it ourselves, we are able to cover events that happen late in the year, such as prom and Special Projects Week,” says Hoyle. Next year’s editor is rising senior John Mitchell.
