How Long Does it Take a Baseball to Reach its Destination?

Abstract
I chose this project because of my love of sports. It is designed to help baseball
players and coaches improve the throws of the players. I used Stella, Excel, and VRML
to determine how long it would take a baseball to reach a destination traveling a certain
speed. I used the equation: V=D/T, where “V” is a representative of Velocity, “D” is a
representative of Distance, and “T” is a representative of Time. In the Excel Spreadsheet,
players and coaches alike are able to plug in various distances and/or speeds and know
how much time it would take to get the baseball there.
