Psychokinesis: Fact or Fiction?

Abstract          This project is based upon the theory of Psychokinesis. Psychokinesis is ability of a human being to influence systems without the normal intervention of muscular systems. There are two different kinds of Psychokinesis, macro and micro Psychokinesis. Macro Psychokinesis is when Psychokinesis is used to have a direct, measurable affect on the physical world. There are very few cases on record of this actually happening, so there for it is unfeasible to test for in this experiment. Micro Psychokinesis is when the effects of a subjects Psychokinetic projection is only measurable in the fact that they defy the laws of normal probability. This is thought to occur in most of the population, in some greater than others, and therefore is better for running tests on.
Many studies have shown that different variables, such as sex and age, have an effect on the individual's scores on the tests. This test was designed to be run on the Boy's dorm at the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science to see if increased aptitude in math and science have an effect on Psychokinesis. This should help add to the growing understanding of the phenomenon of Psychokinesis by helping control an extra variable.
