Orientation

New student orientation usually takes place in early June, and lasts an entire weekend. Students stay in the dorms and get a small taste of residential life, while participating in activities with other incoming students. Orientation weekend is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow students, and to get a feel for what it's like to go to school at ASMS. At orientation, students are introduced to faculty and staff by means of question-and-answer sessions and sample classes.

Some of the activities at orientation include icebreakers, including "The Most Fun You've Ever Had," parts 1-4. If you don't have the most fun you've ever had, don't worry. The school year at ASMS is not quite the same as orientation.
