Applying

Applying to ASMS is easy. You can download the application from the ASMS website, or if you want to apply by "snail mail", email Admissions and they'll send you an application.

The first part of the application asks for your basic information. Next, you are asked to write a couple of essays about yourself; they aren't very long. There are several recommendation forms--one for your guidance counselor, and one for a math or a science teacher. It is recommended that you take the ACT or the SAT before you apply to ASMS and have copies of your score sent to the school, along with a current transcript.

Applications are usually due around the first of February, so be sure to start early! After your application is received and reviewed, you will be called to schedule an interview sometime in mid-to-late March. The school sends out acceptance letters around mid-April, and new student registration is the last weekend in April.
