Around campus, the Sociedad sponsors activities promoting Hispanic culture, and its members are available for tutoring. Each year we participate in a student exchange program with the Europa International School in Sevilla, Spain. Around Mobile we are active in Hispanic community events, international film showings, etc.
Any student is eligible for membership after completing a sufficient number of Spanish courses with outstanding grades, or by transfer from a home school chapter. Initiation is held each spring.
The ASMS chapter of the Sociedad is named "Los Goliardos."
