Summer Fun
Don't waste your summer! Spend it at AIMS Summer Camp! Learn while you have fun! Kayak Mobile Bay. Build a smartphone app. Investigate a crime. Prepare for the ACT. Design and make metal sculpture. Speak German. Create a hologram. Launch a rocket...and much more! There is something for everyone!
Who can enroll? Students entering the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th grades as well as incoming ASMS students. Non Alabama residents are also eligible to apply.
In 2013, AIMS will run for two sessions! Students can sign up for one or two weeks. Session 1 (June 3-7) is an overnight camp. Session 2 (June 10-14) is an overnight or day camp. Day campers will begin school at 8:00 AM and end at 3:15 PM.
2013 Tuition
Overnight Campers: $375 per week (this is all-inclusive - meals, classes, activities, and lodging). Weekend between Week One and Week Two is an additional $175, which includes trip to a water park (weather permitting) and other fun activities.
Day Campers: $275 per week (this includes tuition and lunch).
Refund: If you cancel before May 14, 2013, you will be refunded tuition minus a $100 processing fee for overnight camp and $80 processing fee for day camp. Any refunds made after May 14, 2013, will be examined on a case-by-case basis with the understanding that ASMS has already made staffing, meal, and other plans.
Discount Offers (discount offers CAN be combined if applicable):
Early Enrollment Discount - $25 discount if application and all applicable forms are received by April 1, 2013. This discount can be applied to each week if a camper signs up for two weeks, for a total of $50.
Alumni Discount - Any child of an ASMS graduate is eligible to receive a $75 discount toward overnight-camp tuition or a $25 discount toward day-camp tuition.
Middle School Science Bowl Discount - Students who participated in the Alabama Middle School Science Bowl competition held on the ASMS campus will be presented a coupon worth $75 off overnight camp tuition or a $25 discount toward day-camp tuition. Coupon MUST be attached with application.
Video Scholarship Competition Discount - See asms.net for more details. Five winners will receive free tuition for one week. Winners will be notified by mail or email and must complete an application. All other Video Scholarship Competition participants will receive a $25 discount coupon. Coupon will be mailed to winners and MUST be attached with application. Contest deadline is March 1, 2013.
Timeline

End of May, 2013: Assignment letters emailed (this is the only contact/confirmation asms will provide).
