Summer Camp

Due to the Coronavirus, AIMS 2020 Summer Camp is cancelled.

Out of an abundance of caution and due to the rapidly changing conditions with the Coronavirus, we have made the decision to cancel the ASMS Adventures in Math and Science summer camp this year. Although we are disappointed this course of action has to be taken, we feel it is the prudent thing to do as we prioritize the health and safety of students and campers, along with their families.

For the hundreds who have paid their registration fees, refunds will begin being issued promptly, and you will receive an email notification when your refund has been processed. Please give us 7-10 business days from the date of the initial email notification to process all refunds.

Additional information and resources about ASMS can be found on our website as well as our social media platforms.

We thank you for your understanding and patience, and we look forward to an exciting AIMS next summer in 2021!

Sincerely,

ASMS Admissions and Outreach

Campus Safety

ASMS is a safe campus. AIMS students are not permitted to leave campus during camp, unless a parent picks them up. The campus is completely enclosed by an eight-foot iron fence. ASMS employs full-time security guards who patrol the campus. We also use cameras to record multiple parts of the campus at all times of the day. Further, our Residence Hall staff is made up of trained professionals, all of whom have college degrees and actually live in the dorms during the AIMS camp. AIMS campers are under constant and consistent supervision during the entire day. The camp is structured to keep students constructively occupied at all times. During overnight camp, when students finish school they take part in supervised activities. We also encourage students to have cell phones at camp so they can keep in constant contact with their parents. Parents from every county have entrusted ASMS with their students and the school takes that responsibility seriously. Finally, female campers are not allowed in the boys’ dorm and male campers are not allowed in the girls’ dorm.
