Rapunizal Boykin, Director of Admissions and Outreach
South Alabama
Rapunizal Boykin is the Director of Admissions and Outreach for the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science. Boykin brings a strong background in Admissions, Student Leadership, and Student Development. She is passionate about education and committed to ensuring that students across Alabama have access to advanced learning opportunities. She is excited to serve and support the mission of ASMS. Boykin is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Education Leadership, further deepening her commitment to student success and educational equity.
Lizzie Martin, Coordinator of Admissions and Outreach
North Alabama
Lizzie Martin is the Student Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator at the Alabama School of Math and Science. Martin brings years of experience to the Admissions Department. She holds a B.S. in Leadership and Cultural Studies from the University of Mobile and joined the education field after a distinguished 24-year career in the U.S. Navy. For the past 8 years, Martin has travelled throughout the state providing clear information, guidance, and the support prospective students and families need to embark on their educational journey with confidence. She has proudly championed our school’s mission, helping families discover our unique community and values, with the hopes of recruiting the best and brightest students in Alabama.
Steven Floyd, Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator
Central Alabama
Steven Floyd is the Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator at the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science. He brings a strong background in student outreach, admissions communications, and digital media strategy. He is passionate about connecting students and families across Alabama with the unique academic opportunities available at ASMS and is committed to supporting student success through meaningful engagement and outreach. His work focuses on promoting the mission of ASMS, strengthening community relationships, and helping prospective students discover an educational experience that challenges and inspires them.
