Biography: Hunter Tallent grew up on a small farm in Mississippi near the Alabama border and spent his youth in and around the Mobile area. At the University of South Alabama, Hunter focused his studies on English literature, composition, and rhetoric as well as pedagogy and curriculum design with the express purpose of offering the best education possible to his students. His current research centers on the effects of generative AI in education, its uses for both students and educators, and the benefits of application methods to continue with his pursuit of furthering the science of education. At ASMS, his goal is to help his students get the most out of their English classes and their academic careers as a whole.
