Biography: Patrick Ward grew up in Spanish Fort, AL before attending ASMS during high school. Afterwards he graduated from both the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Auburn University before returning to the same institution in a history instructor role. While at Auburn University, Mr. Ward worked with nonprofit organizations at a research and analysis for public history projects, which included museum exhibits and local presentations across the Southeast. He is excited to return to Mobile as an instructor and contribute toward educating brilliant Alabamians. Mr. Ward’s doctoral research examines the perseverance of Alabamian doctors and patients during the late 20th century AIDS epidemic.
