A Giving Tuesday Thank You

Dr. Samantha Church, ASMS Vice President of Development and Outreach, shares a word of gratitude with the ASMS Community after Giving Tuesday.

Dear ASMS Community,

Four years ago, I left a workplace place I loved to pursue other opportunities. I was scared and not sure what I would be walking into. When I was offered the opportunity to join ASMS, with all my being, I knew that this school, the people, and the students were something special.

This past Tuesday was Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity. The response from the ASMS community on this day left me overwhelmed. The ASMS alumni, family members, faculty, staff, board members, and friends of ASMS have left me speechless. Together, we raised over $50,000 for the ASMS FOREVER capital campaign!!! It is clear that you all believe in the school and its very bright future. You all showed that with your investments.

I am so grateful to have landed here at ASMS. Not only do I get to interact with amazing professionals, alumni, and family members, I get to see students develop and grow during their time here. The unsure sophomores are not the same ecstatic seniors on graduation day. Their transformation, and the support of the school community, is what inspires me every day.

I hope we are making all of you proud, and I am so excited to share with you the many stories of how your generosity on Giving Tuesday makes a difference at ASMS and ultimately in our city, state, and world!
