ASMS Math Instructor Receives Recognition by NSHSS for Excellence in Education Through Nomination by One of Her Students
Kristal Webb, an ASMS math instructor and alumna, was recently honored as a Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction, a program of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). This award “recognizes exemplary educators whose passion and devotion inspire their students to grow and develop as scholars, leaders, and citizens.”

ASMS Launches Brand New Summer Camp to Support Job Growth in STEM
Conversations about employment in STEM are on the rise, and the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science (ASMS) is taking action. This year, the school will be launching the inaugural Alabama STEM Leadership Academy summer camp for rising Alabama 7th, 8th, and 9th graders.
