Presenting The ASMS Class Of 2025
We are so proud of this year’s Alabama School of Mathematics and Science graduates. The Class of 2025 includes students from 31 different counties across the state of Alabama. We are so proud to share some highlights of their accomplishments with our school community!
- This class was awarded $9.9 million+ in scholarship opportunities.
- The class earned an average of $132,854 in scholarships per student (and counting!).
- 78% of graduates will attend college in Alabama.
- 22% of graduates will attend college in 14 different states & 1 other country.
- 3 seniors were named National Merit Finalists.
- 2 seniors were named National Merit Scholarship Winners.
- 3 seniors were selected for early medical school and dental school acceptance programs in Alabama.
- 2 seniors became published co-authors for a research project studying colon cancer.
- 1 senior helped discover a rare, 30-million-year-old whale fossil on her family’s farm.
- 2 seniors participated on an ASMS research team funded by a federal NOAA grant.
- 1 senior was named the 2025 Distinguished Young Woman of Alabama.
- 1 senior was selected for the prestigious United States Senate Youth Program.
- 1 senior was featured as a 2024 "Wonder Kid" by Mobile Bay Magazine.
- 1 senior was named a Treadwell Foundation scholar.
