ASMS Students Achieve Best AP Exam Results in School History in 2025
The College Board recently shared the 2025 AP exam results, and our ASMS students exceeded already high expectations. Their performance on this year's exams is the most successful in the history of the school, including a 95% pass rate with scores of 3 or higher for earning college credit.

ASMS President's List and Dean’s List Students Named for Spring Term 2025
10th and 11th graders (rising juniors and seniors) on the President's List for spring 2025 earned a Spring Term academic GPA of 4.0. Students on the Dean's List for spring 24-25 earned a Spring Term academic GPA of 3.99-3.7. Congratulations to these students!

ASMS High School Research Team Awarded Federal NOAA Grant
A high school research team at the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science (ASMS) was selected to receive a federal grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). SMS Biology Department faculty members, Dr. Rebecca Domangue and Dr. Natalie Ortell, put together a team of 6 students who attend ASMS from across Alabama.
