ASMS Offers Free ACT Prep for Alabama Students

ASMS is offering free ACT prep to Alabama high schoolers! Each spring, the state of Alabama offers most juniors the opportunity to take the ACT for free. The free ACT prep that ASMS provides is intended to help students maximize this experience and improve their chances to earn a strong ACT score at no cost to their families.

Dr. Greg Bacon (ASMS Class of 1995) traces his professional journey to an unforgettable ASMS experience with the Alabama Supercomputing Program to Inspire Computational Research in Education (ASPIRE). In a meaningful turn, Dr. Bacon has accepted an appointment to the ASMS Board of Directors by Governor Kay Ivey. He sees it as coming home -- and as an opportunity to help guide the school that shaped him.
