ASMS Robotics Begins Partnership with local Boys and Girls Club Teaching Kids How to Build Robots
ASMS Robotics is participating in a new partnership with the local Boys and Girls Club. The Boys and Girls Club received robotics kits for the kids to learn how to build robots, but they were unsure of how to use the kits. They reached out to ASMS Robotics and asked them to help instruct the boys and girls!
ASMS Students Featured in MLK Service News Story
ASMS students in the Greenpeace Club and on the Alabama Environmental Youth Council went to the community cleanup hosted by Mobile Baykeeper on MLK Day. They were featured in an MLK news story by Fox10!
ASMS Math Instructor Receives Recognition by NSHSS for Excellence in Education Through Nomination by One of Her Students
Kristal Webb, an ASMS math instructor and alumna, was recently honored as a Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction, a program of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). This award “recognizes exemplary educators whose passion and devotion inspire their students to grow and develop as scholars, leaders, and citizens.”
