ASMS Student Leaders Participate Virtually in the Inaugural Jo Bonner Leadership Academy Retreat

Leadership is at the core of the mission statement for our school. ASMS established the Jo Bonner Leadership Academy (JBLA) to take a more intentional approach to student leadership development. Due to COVID-19, ASMS moved forward virtually with the inaugural year of the program.

Saved by a Dragon

For about ten days, ASMS Chemistry faculty member, Mr. Kevin Dolbeare, was having a hard time breathing. His wife took him to the Urgent Care, and the doctors sent him to the Emergency Room. After several tests including a CT scan, Dr. Kevin DeAndrade (Class of 2001) came to Mr. Dolbeare’s room in the ICU at 9:00 PM.

Return to Campus Plan Fall 2020

Starting Monday, September 7, ASMS will begin moving in on-campus students. This process will continue through Sunday, September 20. During this time, we plan to maintain a campus “bubble” to minimize the risk of a COVID-19 outbreak. After moving in, students should plan to remain on campus.
