ASMS Chemistry Faculty Member Guest Lectures at UAB with ASMS Alumni in Attendance
ASMS Chemistry faculty member, Kevin Dolbeare, recently guest lectured for the UAB Honors class Comics, Cartoons and Communication. The guest lecturing opportunity happened through a connection made by an ASMS alum between his current UAB professor and Mr. Dolbeare, his former ASMS faculty member. Many ASMS alumni attended the guest lecture!
ASMS Biology Department Offers Biological Research Course
From STEM to humanities, ASMS offers a wide range of courses for students to take. One class in particular gives students a very unique opportunity: to conduct academic research while learning about the research process. The Biological Research class is for students in the ASMS Research Fellows Program whose projects are in the field of biology.

Since graduating from the Alabama School of Math and Science (ASMS) in 2021, alumnus Dwayne Goggins has excelled professionally and personally, actively seeking to give back to his community. In recent years, he has attended the University of Texas at Austin, studied abroad in Paris, and interned at Apple.
