This year’s Alabama School of Mathematics and Science senior class is nothing short of exceptional. The Class of 2023 includes students from 20 different counties across the state of Alabama. We are so proud to share some of their accomplishments with our school community!
ASMS Alumna Now A Faculty Member at ASMS Honored with WKRG's Golden Apple Award
ASMS alumna and now ASMS mathematics faculty member, Kristal Webb (Class of 2006), is the recipient of WKRG News 5’s Golden Apple Award which they describe as “honor[ing] local teachers who are making a difference in the classroom.”

As ASMS celebrates its 30-Year Anniversary, alumni and current students alike are reflecting on the beauty of life in the ASMS community. For current student Emily Nguyen, she has been surrounded by STEM as she grew up with an ASMS alum. Her father, Anh Nguyen, graduated from ASMS in the Class of 1994, making Emily an ASMS legacy.

ASMS Student Selected for Internship at the University of Texas to Analyze NASA Earth Science Data
Ella Brochu, a student from The Alabama School for Math and Science in Mobile, Alabama has been selected for the prestigious Student Enhancement in Earth and Space Science (SEES) summer internship to be held at The University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Space Research.
