ASMS Students Win 1st Place at Argonne Cyber Guardians Competition in Orlando
ASMS students placed 1st at the Argonne Cyber Guardians Competition on the University of Central Florida's campus in Orlando!! ASMS team members included Trinity Causey, Kevin Chen, Zac Desmond, Tuyako Khristoforova, Abby Saalwaechter, Ajay Wallack, and James Weaver. They competed against students from across the United States.
ASMS Breaks Ground on New Science Research Center and Launches Capital Campaign Celebrating 30 Years
BIG NEWS! ASMS held a groundbreaking ceremony at the future site of the Wilson Science Research Center in the parking lot along Ann Street and Caroline Avenue. ASMS also publicly announced the launch of the ASMS FOREVER capital campaign to fund the building and celebrate the school’s 30-year anniversary.
ASMS Student Attends Alabama Girls State
Rising senior Zoi Moon represented The Alabama School of Math and Science at the Alabama Girls State program this summer. Girls State is an interactive learning and leadership experience in which female high school students learn about the political process and run a mock government.

Noel Godang, is an exceptional scholar at the University of South Alabama (USA) and an outstanding alumnus of the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science (ASMS). He is a Class of 2019 ASMS graduate and was recently named a 2022 Goldwater Scholar.
